The special propeller mounted on the shaft end of the Xcel Aerator, rotates at high speed, creating a flow of high speed. This movement creates a partial vacuum inside the shaft, causing a suction of outside
air that is dissolved in water flow by the propeller. The air is diffused into fine bubbles in horizontal laminar flow created by the
propeller.
The diffused air is dispersed in water, in the form of small bubbles, thus ensuring an excellent oxygen transfer. The oxygen dissolved in water, the system provides a greater biodegradation, reducing the parameters such as DBO / DQO. For an optimization of the bacteriological, the speed of the airflow is kept constant and the solids are kept in suspension by horizontal trajectory of the airflow.
